Robert Knight, Water Resources Director is resigning from Citrus County Board of County Commissioners effective February 24, 2012.

In the letter, Mr. Knight points out department successes and thanked his staff and County Administration for their support.  “I’ve set into motion the strategic plan for Water Resources and it’s now time for me to look forward to new challenges.”

Mr. Thorpe has selected Ken Cheek, currently the Director of Engineering, as the Interim Director during the transition and will determine a successor for Mr. Knight at a later date.
